About Me
My name is Jonathan Turk, and I am an Assistant Professor of Higher Education in the School of Education at Saint Louis University. I conduct research on student persistence and success, community colleges, and higher education policy.
Research
My research is focused on better understanding and supporting student persistence and success. My most recent work has been featured in The Journal of Higher Education, Journal of Community College Research and Practice, Research in Higher Education, New Directions for Community Colleges, and New Directions for Institutional Research.
Teaching & Course Syllabi
Working with and learning from students is what I enjoy most about being a professor. I am especially passionate about teaching courses focused on research design and quantitative methods, college student success, community colleges, higher education policy, and finance in higher education.
