My name is Jonathan Turk, and I am an Assistant Professor of Higher Education and Community College Leadership in the School of Education at Iowa State University.
Research
My research examines community colleges, higher education finance and policy, and governance. My most recent work has been featured in The Journal of Higher Education, Journal of Community College Research and Practice, Research in Higher Education, New Directions for Community Colleges, and New Directions for Institutional Research.
Teaching
Working with and learning from students is what I enjoy most about being a professor. I am especially passionate about teaching courses on research design and quantitative methods, as well as community colleges, higher education policy, finance, and governance.
